Hey, guys, I still haven’t sold my spare ticket to the Lea Michele /Darren Criss concert in London the 2nd of December, so if you are interested, please send me an ask/IM.
Trump is so bad that SATANISTS are protesting him. Devil worshipers are trying to protect us from this man lmao this real life
Lmaooo yo this seemed so unreal
okay okay but listen
satanists WOULD be anti-Trump
satanists are, for the most part, just secular humanists (mostly atheists) with a flair for the dramatic. They are, on average, very left-leaning.
The Satanic Temple in particular is a great organization. They don’t believe religious organizations should be tax exempt, so they voluntarily pay taxes. They also sell merch and give a good chunk of the proceeds to things like Planned Parenthood and legal funds that fight for division of church and state.
Fuck, this is straight from their website:
“The mission of The Satanic Temple is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people. In addition, we embrace practical common sense and justice.”
(I’ve been drinking so if this too makes zero sense… my bad.)
There are many reasons as to why I’m a fan of Darren’s, and why I will continue to be a fan of his.
1. Darren is a brilliant composer and lyricist. The man has such a gorgeous way at painting a colorful and lively canvas with his words, he truly does. You feel those melodies and those soulful tones. You feel that emotion and that need. It’s brilliant, beyond brilliant. One of my favorite songs of all time is ‘Don’t You.’ I can’t even tell you how many times I have told people that I WISH I had penned that song. It’s breathtaking and authentic. It’s perfectly Imperfect. From one composer to another — he’s gold.
2. His ability to jump into a role and make it leap bounds. Example: Hedwig and Tommy. You couldn’t even tell where hedwig started and Tommy ended. Absolutely flawless transitions, transitions that a wide eye couldn’t even pin point. There was no Darren on that stage. There was no single entity on that stage. There was Tommy and Hedwig, and you saw both all at once. Blew me away.
3. His heart. The amount of time he has put into various charities is something wonderful. Anyone can write a check and send it in, but it’s whole other story when they go in and help. Musicians on Call is very dear to my heart, and he’s participated every year for the past few — and not just by writing checks either.
4. He’s always welcome and inviting. The times that I have gotten to speak with him were easy going and fruitful. He’s just an all around warm guy, who makes you feel like you’re the only person in that room. He talks to you, not at you. And he listens, and he remembers. How many celebs do you know who do that? Who remember each and every fan, who remembers about your mom’s heart surgery from years back and asks “How’s your mom doing? Send her my love.”
5. His dorkiness. He’s just a big ol bumble of nerdy nerd and it’s fantastic. He has no issue with geeking out with the best of us. Who cares if it’s weird or awkward, he owns it and wants you to own yours too. Good shit.
Anon, I could go on forever here, but I doubt anyone wants to read my rambles. So let me just say this — I’m a fan of Darren’s because he’s a good person, a good person with tremendous talent and a soul full of light. Yeah he’s done and said some questionable things, but haven’t we all? Certain aspects of his life DO NOT define him. His character and heart does. Point. Blank. Period.
Americans just buy into the propaganda they are the greatest country when there is absolutely zero evidence to say so.
don’t you just love when americans (especially young ones) are taught absolutely nothing about this stuff in school or by anyone except people on tumblr.
Cleaning my blog from the last vestige of shit on it … I’m at the red speedo time … good times … what happened ?
Blog cleaning over … I’m surprised cause I truly didn’t have that much shit on it lol. Now that I got rid of the toxicity in my SM’s live, it should stay nice and clean.
